The single biggest factor in successful projects is an obsessive focus on user experience that runs through design, technology and adoption. Informed by our consulting work, we try to address individual needs as directly as possible, whilst creating a compelling user experience for both the individual and their networks.
In choosing specific technologies to apply, we will take into account existing architecture, speed of development and future maintainability.
Software evaluation?
Headshift has deep expertise in various social platforms, and our experience of working with many different companies helps us understand which platforms fit each set of circumstances. We can evaluate the various solutions available in the market, taking into account your technology preferences as well as the cultural fit of social software to your organisation.
Technical design and specification
?We can help clients move from high level specification to a detailed and actionable technical design. We have a long history of taking a vision and delivering detailed specification, estimated timescales to implement and corresponding budget. Our methodology involves eliciting the most practical case studies from users as to how they would like to work, and design solutions that bridge the gap between that story and how they currently work today.
Information architecture?
An often overlooked element of implementation is the information architecture. The goal of information architecture is to identify the key, most efficient means of connecting users with the information and expertise they need. To achieve that goal, we will work with you to design an information architecture that is simple and intuitive to help people find, manage and retrieve information they need. Often, that means striking the right balance between top-down and bottom-upemergent information architecture by combining traditional structured data sources and high level structure/navigation on the one hand, with social tools and their relatively unstructured approach on the other.
