Design for adoption
Adoption is something that needs to be considered at the earliest possible point in the project life-cycle, rather than an afterthought at the end as is sometimes the case. End users are at the centre of our consulting process, and we build the functional requirements of our projects by eliciting the most practical use cases from users as stories of how they want to work. This is an iterative process, whereby we understand how a user would use these tools as part of their daily work. We design social tools to take place in the flow of daily activity, rather than as an additional burden.
Content and moderation
Compelling content is key for adoption, and moderation of content is vital to ensure compliance. We are experts in helping you identify quick wins which will identify popular issues to drive your initial content creation. Our consultants have worked on some of the biggest moderation challenges, including the public forums of the BBC which had to take into account international cultural sensitivities in terms of what was appropriate in different parts of the world.
Project evaluation and metrics
Project evaluation and metrics should begin at the start of the project, not at the end. We work with clients to understand what success looks like, what metrics need to be captured, how to capture it and how to present it. These metrics can be vital in moving from pilot to wider rollout, and allow a business to make a decision based on facts rather than theory.
