Symposium on Social Tools for the Enterprise

July 15, 2004 :: by Lee 0 responses

On Monday July 12, I spoke at the Symposium on Social Tools for the Enterprise, organised by Matt Mower. My presentation is available here (PPT), and a longer version with a case study (delivered at Blogtalk) is available here.

Martin Duggage has written up a useful report of the event, entitled Networked Individualism, which was one of our keywords for the day.

Stowe Boyd was an excellent compère (and good company) for the event, which was held in the style of a late night TV talk show. The other presenters were great and the line-up really worked well:

  • Phil Wolff talked about bloggy goodness

  • Mark Eisenstadt showed some fascinating synchronous tools

  • Dave Gurteen facilitated some group discussion

  • Euan Semple talked sensibly about real world deployments

  • Everybody else contributed as much as the presenters

Congrats to Matt, and let's do it again soon.
