Following hot on the heels of iCan, which we have been playing with and analysing recently, comes MySociety - the 'Napster of good causes', according to founder Tom Steinberg. The BBC has also given Bill Thompson space to wax lyrical about the project here.

This seems like a brilliantly simple idea: an incubator for online civil society projects that seeks to match willing practitioners and funders with good ideas for projects.

Let's hope it draws in some funding and capacity. This is an area where previous projects have demonstrated that you don't need to break the bank to achieve success and visibility.
