Business Link for London win NMA Award

Heartfelt congratulations go out to our clients Business Link for London, whose website was judged to be the 'most effective UK public sector website in 2004' at the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards held in London last night.

Business Link for London beat off competition from 53 other organisations to win the prestigious prize and confirm the value of their Online Services Team's hard work and their "courageous and groundbreaking" content-driven strategy.

According to New Media Age,

"The judges were excited by the depth of content that the Business Link for London site offered. The organisation was set the target of increasing its market penetration by 120% to 66,000 firms in 2003/04, with the aim of working with 100,000 SMEs in London by 2005/06. Its site played a key role in achieving those figures, with 50% of all client interaction online by December 2003, compared to just 10% in the previous year. The ROI was very high, with 20,000 clients handled at a cost per client one-sixtieth the cost of working with clients offline. Judges praised the site for making a strong business case for what companies are doing online with an 'excellent' range of content. The move to more in-depth content was described as 'courageous and groundbreaking' and has been key to the companys turnaround in fortunes."

We are delighted for Business Link for London and very proud that several members of Headshift's team have been instrumental to achieving this fantastic success.
