Involve

Latest project news

Involve are a new body that is dedicated to exploring new forms of public participation in politics, science and other areas of society. We have been working with Involve to help them develop online tools for network development.

Their new site was a collaboration with Hyperkit, and combined a Movable Type-driven weblog with a simple content management system and a confluence wiki platform that lets different groups manage project wikis that can be open, closed or anywhere in between.

To coincide with the launch of the site (or was it the other way around?), Involve launched a pamphlet (downloadable here) about post-party politics, and I co-wrote the section on 'Participation 2.0' with David Wilcox.

Exploring new forms of participation with Involve through a weblog-driven site and a wiki platform for networked collaboration.

The interesting thing about politics in Scotland is that the parties squeezed the independents out in most of the "list" votes. Our pensioners, single issue hospital savers and others have all been hurt by a resurgent SNP.

Would be nice to have some more detailed information about what your company does from a technical perspective with Movable-Type and Confluence. The general summary here is a good start, but more detail would probably help get more customers.
