Cory Doctorow is a writer and activist who has warned of the dangers of copyright law and spoken up for digital freedom for quite some time. He is a nice guy, very intelligent and quite prolific in his output. At the recent Aula conference in Finalnd, he made a very convincing case for self-determination, which I watched whilst putting out the washing in the garden. After 19 minutes of standing to attention with Cory speechifying me from my laptop perched on a wall, I felt rather silly; but it was worth it.
