2007 is turning out to be a another very exciting year for Headshift. With an ever-expanding client list and some highly innovative projects on the go, we need more talented people to help us deliver cutting-edge social software solutions for our top clients. It's a great opportunity to get involved in some really interesting work with some of the world's leading firms.

We are especially keen to get to know people with the following skills:

Confluence developers

  • Experience implementing and customising Confluence including implementing new themes, templates, developing macros and plug-ins
  • Java - with knowledge of J2EE (Application Servers, etc.)
  • Open Source frameworks
  • XWork/Webwork/Struts
  • Velocity
  • XML
  • Relational Databases

 

Systems administrators
  • Shell scripting, server monitoring, Apache and Tomcat configuration
  • Comfortable with a mix of technologies including Linux, Windows 2003 Server, OS X, VMWare
  • Experience with MySQL, PHP, Rails, Subversion, Confluence, MovableType and Wordpress is highly desirable
  • Experience architecting and administering virtualised hosting environments is also highly desirable

 

Consultants
  • Knowledge of web 2.0 and the social software space
  • Good consulting and project management experience
  • Junior, technical and business development focused roles available
