The time has come to head for LIFT in Geneva. Six of us are taking the train early tomorrow via Paris to Geneva to get stuck into one of the best events of the year.

Tom is speaking about social influencer networks for social change ... or something like that ... so I couldn't face the crude and environmentally inadvisable option of budget airlines. Let's take the train! To offset the potential impact of having 20% of the company locked into a train for a day (and the eye-watering cost of seats with plug sockets), we shall attempt a small development project using p2p WiFi. Except on the Metro in Paris, where laptops should probably be closed for health and safety reasons. Wish us luck.

At LIFT, we will run a workshop that will seek opinions and ideas for hybrid web app interfaces that lie between email, feeds and GTD. It's only a workshop, but we hope it will be interesting. Got to dream.

After that, a great program to choose from, plus a load of great people to meet. In theory ;-)
