After Motoraddicts, PatientOpinion and Greenthing Headshift has embarked again on a very exciting journey to build a service for - what marketers will probably soon coin as a 'hyper-niche social network' (only 694 entries on Google so far) - couples!
Headshift has teamed up with OnePlusOne, the UK's leading relationship research organisation, to put theory into practise and deliver tangible benefits for couples who wish to work on their relationship. OPO's knowledge and expertise on this subject and Headshift's wealth of experience on building online social communities makes it an ideal marriage. Visual identity and marketing aspects have been assigned to Amazon PR.
The CoupleConnection will support all couples, although help will be targeted at parents of children with a disability and aimed at getting fathers involved. It will comprise three levels of engagement:
Check it out - for users wanting to simply dip into the rich and vast amount of articles, cartoons, images and videos.
Talk it out - for users wanting to talk to other site users and experts about their personal relationship issues.
Work it out - for users wanting to work actively on their relationship either by using the service on their own or with their partner online too.
At the time of writing we are finishing the consulting phase and will be swiftly moving into the design and development stages soon.
