We are seeking an experienced UX consultant/designer. You should be comfortable adapting initial business requirements into research and workshops aimed at stakeholders and end-users. The results from this work will guide a user-centred design solution. You should be comfortable facilitating research and workshops. You will also be confident in structuring the results of this research and the proposed solution for the project into a narrative for the client. This deliverable will vary, but it will be along the lines of sketched user journeys, page description diagrams or wireframes.
Finally, you should be comfortable designing or guiding the look, feel and behaviour for key pages of the end experience. You should have experience around standards compliant websites along with a demonstrable understanding of social technology and related trends in interaction design.
You will spend much of your time working closely with consultants, developers and other designers in our teams. As such, we also expect you to have good social and communication skills and be used to working well in a team environment. Ideally, you will come with several years of related experience and a relevant post graduate qualification in Human factors, System design, Interactive Media or HCI.
