intercultural communication, travel, sport, curiosity, news addict, win-win
Christoph Schmaltz
Christoph studied International Information Management, which allowed him to combine his passion for intercultural communication and human-computer interaction.
He spent considerable time studying, working and traveling abroad. Prior to Headshift he gained practical experience at a management consultancy, Siemens and the United Nations. Christoph's main focus is the legal and professional services sectors. He has also been involved in small and large-scale projects for governmental and non-profit organisations.
Christoph sees technology and software as an enabler, not a driver, of change. He has a genuine interest in intercultural diversity and its ramifications on communication and collaboration facilitated through social software.
In 2008/09 Christoph headed up Headshift's New York office. Nowadays, if not in front of the computer expect to find him in places like Russia, Syria, Israel or simply running along the Thames River.
