Steen Joffe is Head of Operations at Headshift. And also leads work in the international development sector. He has previously held senior management positions in public and private sectors and was founder and COO of a UK leading internet financial services company. Steen has worked extensively in the developing world, advising and managing multi-stakeholder activities for governments and agencies including the UK DFID, U.N. and World Bank. Over the last 10 years he has become increasingly interested in applications of web and mobile technologies as drivers of innovation and change. He has helped to design and implement a variety of projects in the UK, Africa and Latin America, using social technologies and knowledge networks to invest in people & ideas.
