William Cass

  • William is a third year BA politics student and the youngest addition to the Headshift team. An enthusiastic and determined guy William joined us with a penchant for applying social media to political campaigning, journalism and the public sector.

A self confessed idealist and believer in the power of collaboration William has found a home in social media and hopes to transfer his background in student produced TV and politics into a genuine skill set and force for positive change.

His enthusiasm (a word used twice in one post but aptly so) towards all those projects upon which he embarks has seen him stand for Councillor in his local area and become President of several societies at university.

As a leader in SGI-UK, a lay Buddhist organization for the creation of value through education, culture and peace, William has firmly established his idealist credentials and is working hard to create a world of peaceful co-existence and understanding. Certainly no easy task and one which he hopes to apply social tools to.

Hungry for knowledge William is also hoping to write his dissertation on social media and through this understand the implications to the social and political of technology driven interaction.
