Daisyphone: collaborative composition via mobile phone

Our friend Dr. Nick Bryan-Kinns has been working with colleagues at Queen Mary College at the University of London to develop a collaborative music composition/jamming tool that works via mobile phone, as the New Scientist reports
There have been various attempts to do something similar via a web interface overt the years, but this is the first one I have seen that provides a workable interface for mobile phones
Having played with the demo using a web interface, I can confirm it is rather compelling and the daisywheel concept is a good way of building loops
Well done Nick and the QMC team and let’s see which network operator is quick enough to realise its potential.
